Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l:
National Review Senior Writer Noah Rothman says there would be an “atrocious” precedent set globally if Iran is allowed to retain control of the Strait of Hormuz.
“The failure to open this up by force … it would set an atrocious precedent,” Mr Rothman told Sky News Digital Presenter James Bolt.
“It all but guarantees that other revisionist powers like China would try the very same gambit with much more efficacy likely and much more confidence in, for example, the Strait of Taiwan.”
