A Prayer for Lebanon and Its People on the Feast of Divine Mercy: O Lord God, By the suffering, death, and resurrection of Your Son Christ, who is the Prince of Peace, and who washed away our sins and hatred with His precious blood, save us from the cycle of devastating wars. O Lover of Mankind, look with mercy upon our wounded homeland, Lebanon, and its people, and support us in this time of distress... Remove violence and evil from the hearts of all citizens. Awaken the consciences of the leaders of the great nations to make them realize that what they have done is a historical crime that has destroyed Lebanon, a country already devastated for years. Grant the people the awareness and strength to overcome this difficult stage, and to continue demanding justice, our right to life, and to live without war. Our only demand is one: we want peace... O Lord God, Your only Son was delivered into the hands of the wicked, He suffered, was crucified, and died to free us from the bondage of sin and evil. And now our country, Lebanon, has also been delivered into the hands of the wicked. They have tortured it, crucified it, stripped it of its dignity, and clothed it in shame. Your people cry out to You today, so hear their cry. Lift our suffering, Grant us to live with dignity, Heal our wounds, Protect Your persecuted children, Show us justice, Break the oppression and the oppressors, Restore to us the freedom to live with dignity, Renew in us hope and faith in a better life. 🌷 O Lord God, extinguish the fires of war in the land of the Cedars and in the entire world, and protect our Lebanon from all violence and evil. Keep it safe from the spirit of hatred and destruction. Grant it Your protection and care, and give it a time of calm and peace. Through the intercession of Your Immaculate Mother, the Virgin Mary, Our Lady and Queen of Lebanon, Saint Joseph the Virgin, and all the saints of Lebanon. ❤️ O Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.
