Elected MP, Najat Aoun: Our Concern is Building the State

May 18, 2022

(See translation in Arabic section)

The elected representative of the Chouf, Najat Aoun, confirmed that the candidates of the Forces for Change who won the parliamentary elections are concerned with building the state, saying: "We will unite and work together to build this state for which we are running."

She added in an interview: "Talking about our meeting together started before the parliamentary elections, but the time was short, and nothing serious happened, and the conversation between us today began, but I cannot say that there has been any alliance so far."

The new MP Najat Aoun considered that it is necessary to meet in the House of Representatives or to differ on issues and not on lineups.

And she believed that all coalitions should be "towards building a state".
