Sydney - Middle East Times Int’l: Al-Sharq newspaper revealed: On the 198th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, the occupation forces continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, leaving martyrs and wounded. The number of martyrs from the bombing that targeted two homes in Rafah in the south rose to 19 martyrs, including 14 children.
This comes at a time when the bodies of more than 210 martyrs who had been buried collectively by the occupation forces were recovered inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, while it was reported that there are 700 missing persons.
The occupation also committed 5 massacres in the Gaza Strip, killing 48 martyrs and 79 injured within 24 hours, bringing the number of victims of the Israeli aggression to 34,97 martyrs and 76,980 injured since last October 7.
Al Jazeera broadcast obtained scenes of a complex ambush carried out by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), two weeks ago in the town of Prophet Elias in Qalqilya in the West Bank, which led to two injuries, one of which was a female soldier in the occupation army.
The Director General of the Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip, Ismail Al-Thawabta, announced on Sunday the discovery of two mass graves in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, containing 210 bodies of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army during its incursion into the area.
He pointed out that there are “700 missing people since the Israeli army withdrew from the Nasser Medical Complex, and we believe that there are hundreds of martyrs still missing after the Israeli occupation executed them and buried them in mass graves.” The Civil Defense Service in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that a number of victims of the bombing had been recovered. Earlier Saturday, a pregnant Palestinian woman was martyred and her fetus was saved, while others were injured, in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house and agricultural land in Rafah.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out several violent raids on areas north of Nuseirat and on other areas located in the central Gaza Strip.
This came at a time when reports confirmed that the occupation army was sending additional military reinforcements to that area, where it was establishing a dividing line dividing the Gaza Strip into two parts, the north and the south.
Two citizens were also martyred and others were injured in an air strike targeting the “Al-Mawasi” area, west of the city of Khan Yunis. Local sources reported that the raid targeted a house located close to the tents of the displaced in that area, at a time when gunboats were bombing the northwestern areas of the city.
In this context, residents of Rafah confirmed that the occupation’s reconnaissance aircraft do not stop flying at low altitudes over the city, which the occupation threatens with a military operation.
They pointed out that the volume of attacks by artillery and air strikes has increased over the past period, in a way that has not been the case since the beginning of the war, leaving hundreds of victims.
This came at a time when sources from the city spoke about the entry of trucks transporting tents, after the occupation announced that it wanted to buy 40,000 tents to make them housing places for the city’s displaced people, when the military operation began.
In the context of talking about human suffering as a result of the war, residents are still complaining of a severe shortage of medicine and food. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Palestine (OCHA) confirmed that humanitarian convoys were unable to deliver fuel to hospitals in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli obstacles.
