I Curse You, Bibi Netanyahu

I Curse You, Bibi Netanyahu
New York         Dr. César Chelala
I curse you, Benjamin Netanyahu
and will continue cursing you for
all the unnecessary deaths you have caused
I curse you because of all the music-loving youths that
were killed in Hamas’ attack
I curse you, Netanyahu, because if your hubris hadn’t prevailed, you
could have protected them
and avoided further massacres
I curse you, Netanyahu, because
to save your skin you are willing to prolong a war and condemn your own
citizens and hostages to an ominous future
I curse Netanyahu, for all the children cowardly bombed and
killed
I curse you, Netanyahu
for the thousands of orphaned children you have left, for
the thousands of widows and
for all the vulnerable children, men and women that you have attacked
unrelentingly
I curse you Netanyahu, because there is no end to your thirst for blood as
you risk a much wider and lethal war
I curse you Netanyahu for spoiling for a war with Iran, which
would be catastrophic for the region and the world
and for the unrelenting expansion of settlements and ethnic cleansing tactics
you encourage
I curse you Netanyahu for
killing journalists, aid workers, physicians and nurses indiscriminately
and for making the world a less safe and peaceful place.
