Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday that four individuals arrested in early May while attempting to enter the country by sea confessed to belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The ministry said in a statement carried by the official Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the four men, two naval colonels, a captain, and a naval lieutenant, admitted that they had been tasked by the Revolutionary Guard with “infiltrating Bubiyan Island,” Kuwait’s largest island, located near the Iranian coast, on May 1st “aboard a fishing boat that had been specially chartered to carry out hostile acts against Kuwait.”
