Blinken expresses to Omani FM 'appreciation' for mediating role

WASHINGTON-- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Wednesday with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Bader Al-Busaidi during which he expressed his "appreciation for Omanآ’s mediating role in advancing regional peace and stability." State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement that Blinken and his Omani counterpart discussed "security cooperation." The statement added that they also "reaffirmed the importance of Omanآ’s trade and investment relationship with the United States."
