Funding announced for Community Building Partnership Projects in Canterbury

Sydney - Middle East Times Int’l: The electorate of Canterbury has secured $300,000 in funding for a total of 16 projects through the NSW Government’s 2023 Community Building Partnership Program.
The State Government funds will deliver much-needed upgrades and improvements to local facilities, including aged care home, early education centre, school infrastructure, church facilities, as well supporting local grassroots community organisations. 
The Community Building Partnership program has funded more than 19,700 community projects since it commenced in 2009.
Member for Canterbury Sophie Cotsis said:
“This is fantastic news for our community.”
“I congratulate all the organisations that have been successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference to our local area.”
“These improvements will help create a more vibrant and inclusive community for us all.” 
Some successful projects in the Canterbury electorate for the 2023 round are: 
Canterbury Meals on Wheels - Replace Ageing Equipment
Kingsgrove North High School P & C Association - Sporting Lights Project
Undercliffe Public School P&C Association - Garden Club
Koorana Child & Family Services - Koorana Sensory Gym Improvement.
