Muscat International Book Fair from February 25 to March 7

MUSCAT: The Main Organizing Committee for the Muscat International Book Fair 2015, held a meeting yesterday at Oman Establishment for Press, Publication and Advertising, headed by Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour al Hasani, Minister of Information and Committee Chairman. The committee discussed the preparations for the 20th session of the Muscat International Book Fair, which will be launched from February 25-March 7.

The Committee reviewed a number of topics including the new events and activities that take place in the 20th session of the book fair, and take advantage of the evaluation of activities in the previous session. It is worth mentioning that the 19th Muscat International Book Fair was attended by more than 570 publishers from 25 countries and allocated integrated halls for children’s literature which allowed the conducting of various activities for that literature.
