RAHI to Saudi Shura Council Delegation: To Establish Peace in Region, Allow its Sons to be Reunited

22 Jun 2019

Lebanon- Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi welcomed this Friday at the Bkirki Patriarchate a delegation of the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia headed by Saleh Bin Munea Al-Khaliwi, accompanied by Saudi Ambassador Walid Bukhari.

The delegation relayed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stressing "the need to continue to strengthen and support the historical and long-standing relations between the two countries."

Rahi praised "the decision taken by the Kingdom to lift the ban on the travel of Saudi nationals to Lebanon," hoping "peace would prevail throughout the region so its sons could be reunited."
