U.A.E. signs MoU with UN on maintenance of Hall 17 at Geneva headquarters

GENEVA: The United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations whereby U.A.E. will fund the maintenance of Hall No. 17 of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG).

According to the MoU, UNOG's Hall No. 17 will bear the name of the United Arab Emirates.

The MoU was signed at a ceremony at UNOG by Ambassador Obaid Salem Al Zaabi, Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations in Geneva and other International Switzerland-based Organisations, and Michael Moller, Acting Head of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG).
