UAE FM Abdullah bin Zayed receives message from Ismail Haniyeh

ABU DAHBI--H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister has received the congratulatory note from Ismail Haniyeh, former Palestinian Prime Minister, Deputy Head of the Islamic Resistance Movement's Political Bureau (Hamas), in which he appreciated the U.A.E. efforts to alleviate the sufferings of Palestinian peoples, especially in the besieged Gaza Strip.

He added that the U.A.E. relief and humanitarian projects, among others, the field hospital, received great appreciation from the Palestinian people, deeming them paradigm shift in terms of quick response and support to the Palestinian people at time of war and the Israeli aggression.

Following is the full text of the Message: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, U.A.E. Foreign Minister, "We seize this opportunity to extend to your self esteem personality, the sisterly country the United Arab Emirates leadership and people, sincere thanks and appreciation to the blessed efforts that you are making to alleviate the suffering of our people, especially in the blockaded Gaza Strip. We also commend the humanitarian and relief projects that are met here with great satisfaction among our people, of which the most recent was the field hospital, which is a hallmark in the dedication of the United Arab Emirates to the Palestinian people. We also note the quick response to stand by our people in time of war and during the Israeli aggression.

We recall the white hands of the U.A.E. and its people since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan - may God have mercy on him - who left a legacy of humanitarian work. He was a role model global humanitarian personality. That legacy has been sustained by the U.A.E. to this day.

We reiterate our highly appreciation to all the assistance of the United Arab Emirates to the people of Palestinian. We are ready to provide what it takes to ensure the success of your mission.

We are happy about the presence of U.A.E. delegation among our people in the Gaza Strip. And we hope the delegation will continue its efforts in the management of the field hospital to offer the best service to those affected by the war.

We assure you of our keen desire to keep the relationship with the United Arab Emirates at its best so as to enhance the Arab solidarity and fraternal spirit, and give more support and backing to the Palestinian people, and their just cause as well.
