Official hails Kuwait's large participation in Expo 2020 Dubai

KUWAIT-- Kuwait's participation in Expo Dubai 2020 next October is the largest of its kind and reflects Kuwait's civilizational and cultural heritage in various fields, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information Muneera Al-Huwaidi said Sunday.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Huwaidi, who is the Commissioner-General of Kuwait at Expo 2020, affirmed Kuwait's keenness to participate in international forums to present its strategic projects and initiatives to achieve development goals, in addition to attracting investments, and highlighting its humanitarian contributions.
The final preparations for the participation is "in full swing" for opening the pavilion, which covers 5,500 square meters, with design inspired from Kuwait water towers, she said.
The Kuwaiti pavilion located in (Sustainability Axis) under the title (New Kuwait, New Investment Opportunities for Sustainability), she said, adding that the latest audiovisual and sensory technology industry was used in participation content.
The six-month Expo will be hosted by Emirate of Dubai, entitled (Connecting Minds, Creating the Future) as an exceptional platform that allows the global community to cooperate to discuss global development factors of sustainability, mobility and opportunities.
