Palestinian Min. praises Kuwait's donation to rebuild Gaza

GAZA-- Palestinian Minister of Public Works and Housing Mufeed Al-Hasanya praised on Sunday financial donation by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) to rebuild Gaza.

On sidelines of the Minister's visit to Al-Shifa medical complex, he said in a statement to KUNA that this donation is one of the most important aid to the Palestinian people because it includes the sectors of health, housing, industry, agriculture and infrastructure.

Al-Mahasna expressed gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti people and KFAED on executing the project of rebuilding the obstetrics section in Al-Shifa medical complex and all projects exeuted in Gaza.

"The new section will be fully equipped with all medical devices and machinery for treating Palestinian women and it will be ready to operate within six months," the minister added.

The donation reached USD 200 million and was presented during Cairo's International Conference designated specifically to rebuild Gaza.
