HH the Kuwait Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

KUWAIT- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Tuesday sent a cable of congratulates to Kuwait National Assembly's secretary general Allam Al-Kandari on the occasion of his selection as head of the inter-legislative advisory body's Arabic-speaking group at IPU conference.

In his cable, His Highness the Amir wished Al-Kandari all the best to fulfill the duties of this high position.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables.

Earlier today, The Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) has chosen Al-Kandari as the head of the inter-legislative advisory body's Arabic-speaking group, during a meeting on sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Union's (IPU) conference in Geneva.

Inter-legislative advisory body names Kuwaiti official chief Arabic speaker

GENEVA-- The Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) has chosen the Kuwaiti National Assembly's secretary general Allam Al-Kandari as the head of the inter-legislative advisory body's Arabic-speaking group.

The consultative body of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) held a meeting as part of the agenda for the 139th IPU conference, Al-Kandari told KUNA on Tuesday.

He added that participants were divided into Arabic, English, French and Spanish-speaking groups, all of whom took part in a panel discussion.

In his new position, the Kuwaiti official is tasked with arranging inter-parliamentary dialogue in the event of an emergency.
