BERLIN -- Kuwait, represented by its Ambassador to Germany Najeeb Al-Bader, participated in the Arab-German Health Forum, which was held in Berlin between 14 and 15 September under the auspices of the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In a statement to KUNA Wednesday, Ambassador Al-Bader stressed the importance of this meeting to help enhancing the health cooperation between Arab countries and Germany.

He noted that the health impacts and challenges caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 are great on the world and the Arab region, which requires strengthening aspects of health cooperation between different countries.

Moreover, he pointed out that the forum's workshops emphasized the importance of developing effective health systems through a successful vaccination strategy, the latest medical technologies and appropriate medical care.

The German-Arab Health Forum is an information platform and network for establishing and strengthening long-term Arab-German trade relations in the health care sector with the aim of promoting health cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two sides.
