Lebanon - The Lebanese Army announced via Twitter that LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun, has left to the Arab Republic of Egypt, in response to the invitation of his counterpart, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Farid. Research will focus on cooperation between the two armies and ways to bolster support for the LAF.
