Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l:
State Member for Drummoyne, Stephanie Di Pasqua MP, today in Parliament, called on the Minns Labor Government to fix traffic congestion on Victoria Road,
Drummoyne.
After raising traffic issues in Drummoyne with the current and former Minister for Roads and Transport NSW on multiple occasions, the Drummoyne community is not seeing any real traffic improvements following the opening of the Rozelle Interchange.
“It took a local resident more than thirty minutes to travel less than 2km in the morning peak today. It is faster to walk,” Ms Di Pasqua said in her motion.
Ms Di Pasqua criticised the Minns Government for not making traffic improvements in Drummoyne a priority, instead offering solutions for neighbouring suburbs because of political gain.
Ms Di Pasqua condemned the Minns Labor Government for “ignoring Drummoyne while fixing traffic in Balmain because it is more politically convenient,” she said.
“The Government has continued to show no urgency to fix traffic congestion in
Drummoyne and enough is enough.”

The congestion issue in Drummoyne including many streets in

Sydney needs attention
before it explodes into further chaos.
