Sydney - Middle East Times Int’l: The International Court of Justice in The Hague elected Judge Nawaf Salam as its president for a three-year term, following the end of the term of US President Judge John Donoghue, making him the second Arab to preside over this court since its establishment in 1945, after the former Algerian Foreign Minister and President of its Constitutional Court, Mohamed Bedjaoui.
