AgriTech firm names new executive to drive global growth

Sydney - Middle East Times Int’l: Sustainable agri-tech company RedSea has named a new chief financial officer to help drive its business expansion globally.
Storm van Zyl will be based in Cape Town, South Africa. 
Ryan Lefers, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of RedSea, said: “We are excited for Storm to join our team …. Her deep knowledge of the sector positions her ideally to support RedSea, as we continue to grow our global presence and product range – currently deployed in 12 countries on five continents.
He cited her appointment as “further evidence of our progress”.

“It is a particularly exciting time as growers and governments in hot climate countries, globally, recognize RedSea’s unique competitive advantages.

Van Zyl has 10 years’ experience in agriculture/climate change consultancy and is a former CFO/COO at Aerobotics, a global data analytics firm maximising crop performance globally
RedSea has developed pioneering sustainable agriculture climate technologies for hot climates. Its products tackle extreme heat and water scarcity in agriculture by saving water, increasing sustainability, profitability and increasing yields for growers in hot climates.
