Nathan Hagarty, Member for Leppington, has commended the first NSW Labor Budget in over 12 years.
The budget has delivered for families in Leppington by investing in essential services, education, open space, roads and infrastructure.
The NSW Budget has delivered the following to Leppington: funding to start the upgrade of Fifteenth Avenue, a new high school, upgrading Eagle Vale High School to a Sports High; upgrades to Austral,
Leppington, Dalmeny and Greenway Park public schools; Austral and Leppington Wastewater Stage 3 & 4; Public Park Upgrades
“This is a great Budget for Leppington, delivering on the commitments I made during the election.” Mr Hagarty said.
“Education in Leppington is front and centre in this budget, with the Minns Labor Government funding a new Public High School and upgrades for five schools to deliver high quality education across our community.
“There are also funds to start the process of upgrading Fifteenth Avenue and for more open space local parks.
“For too long, Leppington and the South West was neglected by the former Liberal and National Government.
“Whether its education, infrastructure or open space in Leppington, it’s in this Budget and I’m glad to be a part of a Labor Government that listens and delivers for the community,” Mr Hagarty said.
