Sydney - Middle East Times Int’l: At the inauguration of the departure building by former minister Laila Al-Solh Hamadeh at the Public Security Centre in Al-Masnaa, acting Director-General of Public Security Brigadier General Elias Al-Bisari said “our presence today at the Al-Masnaa border point is not a coincidence, neither in place nor in time”.
“It stems from a convergence of wills between the Arab brothers, which will inevitably be reflected in goodness and more stability and internal peace in Lebanon.”
“It is prescient to confirm that Lebanon is ready to engage in unifying Arab will to solve all crises, foremost of which is the issue of displaced Syrians, who we hosted as dear and honourable brothers, and we want them to return to Syria strengthened to preserve their cultural identity.”
Al-Bisari pointed out that “the aim of this visit is to inspect the border el-Masnaa public security centre as part of a program of inspections of public security departments and its regional and border centres, to find out about their conditions, needs and workflow”.
Another purpose, he added, was to announce the opening of the centre after its rehabilitation with the grateful contribution of former minister, Mrs. Laila el-Solh Hamade, who never hesitated in supporting the Lebanese state by supporting its departments and institutions, including the Public Security Institution.
