Former MP Emil Rahme discussed with Australian Ambassador to Lebanon Andrew Barnes, during their meeting, the distinguished relations between Lebanon and Australia, and "the active role played by the Lebanese community towards this country, which embraced successive Lebanese migrations, provided immigrants with opportunities for a decent life and respected their religious privacy." and ethnicity in the context of diversity.
