Kuwait, Russia celebrates diplomatic ties' 60th anniversary 
KUWAIT-- The State of Kuwait and the Russian Federation celebrated on Sunday the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
A statement by the foreign ministry said that congratulatory messages were exchanged on the occasion on Saturday, between the Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, stressing on the strong relations and bonds of friendship between the two countries and their endeavors towards developing bilateral relations in various fields.
The two sides also underlined the importance of abiding by principles adherence to international law and international legitimacy, and their keenness to restore security and stability in the region and the Middle East.
