The Australian Middle Council of Middle East, strongly condemns any attempts to undermine the security and stability of the State of Kuwait and expresses its full solidarity with the Kuwaiti government and people in the face of threats to its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Council affirms that the recent announcement by Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior regarding the dismantling of a sabotage cell highlights the serious and evolving security challenges facing the region. Kuwait’s security remains an integral pillar of Gulf and regional stability.
The Council commends the proactive efforts of Kuwaiti security authorities and supports all lawful measures taken to safeguard national security and preserve public order.
It further underscores the importance of respecting national sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs, calling on the international community to take a firm and unified stance against any groups or activities that seek to destabilise the region.
