Minister of Education Begins Sydney Visit with University Cooperation and Tour of Educational Institutions 03/11/2025 (See translation in Arabic section) Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l: Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, began her activities in Sydney with a visit to the University of Sydney, where she met with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joanne Wright. According to a statement, the meeting focused on "exploring avenues for academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise between Lebanese and Australian universities."

Minister Karami during her visit to Sydney University The Minister also visited one of Australia's leading early childhood education centers – the Montessori Academy – and reviewed the adopted curricula and innovative educational facilities, praising "the advanced level of education at these institutions." In the evening, Minister Karami attended a concert at Government House, and concluded her day with a dinner with the Lebanese Australian Foundation team, where ways to support "cultural and educational cooperation between Lebanon and Australia" were discussed.
