Jeddah-- Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi has commended deep-rooted relations with Saudi Arabia.

"These excellent relations are further progressing at official and popular levels," Al-Mutairi, also Minister of State for Youth Affairs, made the remarks after meeting Saudi Minister of Information Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi in Makkah last night.

Relations between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, he said, see eye-to-eye global issues and this was due to "constant coordination through official and popular channels." Al-Mutairi praised the Saudi leadership for providing facilities for pilgrims in general and amidst coronavirus pandemic in specific.

"We are indeed proud of Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision" which focuses on development of the country in general, and media and youth in particular, he said.

Al-Mutairi said Kuwait and Saudi Arabia were exchanging media expertise in order to have an objective and productive media "that promotes our values derived from moderation of our religion and traditions." He pointed out that Kuwait's Ministry of Information had recently finalized a comprehensive strategy aimed at taking media to a higher level.
