Bassam Al-Qabandi, the new ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Australia

We received in Australia, with great joy, the news of the appointment of His Excellency Ambassador Bassam Mohamad Al-Qabandi, as the new ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Australia. Ambassador Al-Qabandi left significant imprints during his diplomatic career by representing his country in several world capitals, including Yerevan, the capital of the Republic of Armenia.

We have learned that Ambassador Al-Qabandi is very experienced in diplomatic matters that revolves in the world of politics.  This of course makes him able to make significant contributions to the process of strengthening communication and developing bilateral relations between Kuwait and Australia, especially after the absence of activity due to the global Corona pandemic that was experienced in the Kuwaiti Embassy in Canberra.

According to what we have learned, the activities of Ambassador Al-Qabandi does not miss the priorities and objectives that would serve the supreme interest of the State of Kuwait, especially in strengthening and growing trade relations between the two countries. Thus, encouraging Australian business to invest in Kuwait, which enjoys a prestigious reputation and great confidence in Australians in particular and most of the world in general.

It is noteworthy that Ambassador Bassam Al-Qanbadi presented his credentials as ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Evan McConnell, Director of Protocol at the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In a press statement after the meeting, Ambassador Al-Qabandi confirmed that the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and various issues of common interest.

The management of the "Middle East Times", which has a long relationship of cooperation and communication with the State of Kuwait for more than three decades, welcomes His Excellency Ambassador Bassam Muhammad Al-Qabandi, and that the decision to appoint him by the wise leadership of Kuwait reflects his experience, ability, and communication.
