ARMY Apprehends Terrorist Ahmad AlShami, one of Kaftoun crime accomplices

Lebanon - The Lebanese Army Command on Friday issued a statement revealing that the Army's Intelligence Directorate, in coordination with the army units deployed in Helan region of Zgharta, arrested terrorist Ahmad Samir Al-Shami, who had been affiliated to dead terrorist, Khaled Al-Talawi, and who was involved in Kaftoun crime, which took place on 8/21/2020.

Al-Shami had also been involved in the killing of four Lebanese Army soldiers during their inspection of an apartment belonging to arrested Abdel Razzak al-Riz in Jabal al-Baddawi on 9/13/2020.

The arrestee has been handed over to the competent authorities, the Army statement added.
