US may partially restore funding to World Health Organisation

US President Donald Trump has hinted at restoring some funding to the World Health Organisation, in a tweet.

He said his administration is looking at a number of concepts, including one where the US would pay about 10 per cent of its former level.

US contributions to the WHO were suspended last month with the president accusing the agency of promoting China’s disinformation about the coronavirus outbreak.
