21 Mar 2020

Lebanon – Lebanese Forces Party Chief, Samir Geagea, issued a statement today on the rising risk of the Corona virus spread, saying: "The crisis of the outbreak of the Corona virus is still at its peak, and we can reach the worst if we do not all work in the right direction.”

Accordingly, Geagea urged all Lebanese citizens “to fully adhere to their home quarantines, so that this critical wave passes with the least possible damage and we return to normal life as it should be." He added: "The more we adhere to the present-day personal protective measures and the commitment to staying at home, the more we can return to normal life in a shorter time.”

Meanwhile, Geagea called on the government to secure the needed medical supplies for this stage, from masks to artificial respirators and all related devices, at the required speed “so that citizens, medical personnel and hospitals can play their roles properly.”
