Announcement The Consulate General of Lebanon in Sydney Due to the current situation resulting from the spread of Corona virus (COVID-19) and to minimize the risks, this Mission kindly asks the Lebanese community members in NSW to: 1- Attend the offices of the Consulate General for absolute necessity only during business hours (9h30am -1h00pm) from Monday to Friday 2- Communicate with this Mission using the following email address [email protected] and not over the phone due to increase of calls and send electronic copies of the documents with phone number and address to allow the staff of the consulate general to contact you in order to discuss the possibility of processing applications via email or Australia Post to avoid coming in person to the Consulate General. اعلان من قنصلية لبنان العامة في سدني تلفت قنصلية لبنان العامة في سدني نظر ابناء الجالية اللبنانية الكرام إلى ان مقام مجلس الوزراء قـــــد اعلن التعبئة العامة في لبنان لمواجهة فيروس كورونا اعتباراً من تاريخ 15 آذار 2020 ولغاية منتصف ليل 29 آذار 2020 (تعميم رقم 1294/5 تاريخ 16/3/2020) وذلك على النحو الآتي: 1- اقفال مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي وجميع المرافئ الجوية والبحرية والبرية (فقط امام الوافدين بالنسبة للمرافئ البرية والبحرية) ووقف جميع الرحلات الجوية التجارية والخاصة من والى المطار اعتبارا من منتصف ليل الأربعاء الواقع فيه 18 آذار 2020 حتى الساعة الرابعة والعشرين من يوم الأحد في 29 آذار 2020، ويُستثنى من ذلك الطائرات العسكرية، طائرات الإسعاف الجوي، الطائرات التي تعبر الأجواء اللبنانية، الطائرات المخصصة للشحن، الطائرات التي تنقل كل من قوات اليونيفيل والبعثات الدبلوماسية المعتمدة في لبنان والمنظمات الدولية والأشخاص العاملون لدى الشركات المرتبطة بعمليات الحفر في البلوك رقم 4، حيث تخضع هذه الفئات كالعادة للاستحصال المسبق على الأذونات اللازمة عبر القنوات الدبلوماسية. 2- السماح للبنانيين، وأفراد عائلاتهم ممن لا يحملون هوية لبنانية أو ليس لديهم بطاقات إقامة، كما ولحاملي بطاقات الإقامة في لبنان، بالعودة إلى لبنان حتى تاريخ 18 آذار 2020 ضمناً على ان لا يشمل هذا السماح الركاب القادمين من الدول التي سبق وان تم حظر السفر منها واليها وهي التالية: فرنسا، مصر، سوريا، العراق، المانيا، اسبانيا، المملكة المتحدة، ايطاليا، ايران، الصين (هونغ كونغ، ماكاو، تايوان الصينية) وكوريا الجنوبية. Announcement The Consulate General of Lebanon in Sydney The Consulate General of Lebanon in Sydney would like to draw the attention of the Lebanese community members in NSW to the declaration of general mobilization by the Council of Ministers from the 15th of March 2020 until midnight of the 29th of March 2020 (circular of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants No 1294/5 date 16/3/2020) in accordance with the following: 1- Closure of Rafic Hariri international airport including all ground, maritime and aerial ports (only for visitors using ground and maritime ports) and grounding all commercial and private flights from and to the airport since midnight of the 18th of March 2020 until midnight of the 29th of March 2020, except military aircrafts, aircrafts used for medical aids, aircrafts flying over the Lebanese territories, cargo planes, aircraft carrying UNFIL personnel, foreign diplomatic staff posted to Lebanon, international organizations, workers contracted by companies connected with operations in Block 4 . These categories as above are subject to obtain permits through the diplomatic channels. 2- The Lebanese and their family members that do not hold the Lebanese ID or do not have residency permits or those who holds residency permits are granted a permit to return to Lebanon until the 18th of March 2020, such permit does not extend to passengers arriving from or travelling to the following states France, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Iran, China (Hong Kong, Macao, Chinese Taiwan) and South Korea that fall under the travel ban.
