Kuwaiti diplomat hands in credentials to Canada's Governor-General

WASHINGTON-- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Canada Reem Al-Khaled handed in her credentials to the Governor-General of Canada Julie Payette, said a statement Saturday.

Speaking to KUNA, Ambassador Al-Khaled commended the strong relations linking Kuwait and Canada, revealing that diplomatic relations have been going strong for around 50 years.

The Kuwaiti diplomat conveyed warm greetings from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Governor-General Payette, affirming that both leadership were eager to bolster relations on all levels.
