FINANCE MINISTER Pays Unexpected Visit to Beirut Port

 19 Aug 2019

Lebanon– Finance Minister, Ali Hassan Khalil, on Monday made a surprise visit to the port of Beirut, where he inspected the port’s different sections, including customs clearance and container stations.

He listened to the complaints of many citizens about the procedures they underwent to clear their goods, and the problems they faced.

At the end of his tour, Minister Khalil made a brief statement on Twitter, affirming that no one is politically covered in the Lebanese customs.
