LEBANON Partakes in International Arab Banking Summit in Rome

Lebanon – The International Arab Banking Summit (IABS) 2019 kicked off Tuesday in the Italian capital, Rome, in presence of governors of Arab central banks, representatives of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, and chief banking and financial figures.

Talks reportedly focused on the Euro-Mediterranean-Arab dialogue in order to establish a between economic zone.

Lebanon was represented by State Minister for Administrative Development Affairs May Chidiac, Head of the Lebanese Banks Association Joseph Torbey, and chairmen of Lebanese banks.
