Bishop Tarabay announces a number of appointments

The social and humanitarian mission of the Church relies on the vitality of its various organizations and committees, on individual and community initiatives, as well as, on the generous support of Her people. The bishop, clergy, religious, the laity and the volunteers work hand in hand to realise the objects of this holy mission.

Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay is pleased to announce the following appointments:

Mr Anthony Khouri OAM, Chairperson of MaroniteCare;

Mr James Wakim, President of the Maronite Diocesan Finance Council;

And to inform you of the following:

Mr Daryl Melham AM, Chairperson of White Stone Inc;

Dr Anthony Hasham, re-elected President of the Maronite Catholic Society;

Mrs Zita Doueihi, President of the Maronite Ladies of the Gospel Committee;

Mr Riad Tayeh, President of the Australian Maronite Professionals Council;

Mr Charbel Azzi, Chairperson of Maronites on Mission Australia;

Mr Tony Khattar, President of the Maronite Council Australia.

We are grateful for the assistance and generosity of the volunteers and different committees and groups of the Eparchy, as they play a key role in the life and social mission of the Church.
