Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa receives delegation of Kuwaiti officials and journalists
Bahraini leader hails Kuwait's various achievements
MANAMA-- Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa congratulated Kuwait Airways on the success of its inaugural flight after designating Bahrain as its first destination, which reflects outstanding relations and advanced cooperation.
The Bahraini leader hailed Kuwait's landmark achievements, under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which comes in line with his vision to turn Kuwait into a world-class business and financial center by 2035.
The Bahraini king made his remarks during a reception, at Al-Safriya Palace, to visiting Kuwaiti Finance Minister Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, State Minister for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Services Affairs Jinan Mohsin Ramadhan, Kuwait Airways Board Chairman Yusef Abdulhamid Al-Jassim, Civil Aviation director-general Yousef Sulaiman Al-Fouzan, Former Information Minister Mohammad Al-Sanoussi, and former Kuwait Airways Chairman and former Information Minister Sami Abdullatif Al-Nesf.
King Hamad also extended greetings and good wishes to His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince, hailing deep-rooted historic and steadily-growing relations binding the two countries and peoples.
The Bahraini leader praised as well the stances of Kuwaiti leadership and people in support of Bahrain in all circumstances, taking pride in the solid historic ties between the two countries.
In turn, the Kuwaiti delegation expressed thanks and appreciation to the Bahraini King, hailing strong fraternal relations binding the two countries and peoples.
Kuwaiti government and media delegation arrived on a visit to the kingdom aboard Kuwait Airways' inaugural flight which took off this morning from the new passenger terminal (T4) at Kuwait International Airport to Bahrain International Airport.
The delegation conveyed to Bahraini King greetings on behalf of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness the Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and expressed wishes the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
