Lebanon - Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday welcomed at his Yarze office the Commander of United States Central Command General Joseph Votel, on top of a military delegation, in the presence of US ambassador to Lebanon, Elizabeth Richard, and US Defense attaché Colonel Daniel Mouton.

Talks reportedly touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the broad region, in addition to the army's needs in the context of US Aids Program.

Later, General Aoun met with Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Emmanuelle Lamoureux, with whom he discussed the circumstances of the current phase and cooperation relations between the armies of both countries.
