Bassil via twitter says forwards letter to government to establish Lebanese Embassy in Jerusalem

14/12/2017

KUWAIT Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, Gebran Bassil, said via twitter on Thursday, "I have forwarded a letter to the Lebanese government requesting the establishment of a Lebanese Embassy in Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine. For this purpose, I have proposed to the Palestinian president the idea of exchanging property between Lebanon and Palestine, and he has promised me swift action to grant Lebanon a piece of property in East Jerusalem."

"The Council of Ministers will take the most appropriate decision in this regard, God willing," Bassil's tweet added.
