Sydney - ME Times Int'l: His Beatitude John X Yazigi, the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All The East, arrived carrying his pastoral message and armed with the patriarchal slogan: "By grace we grow, by service we rise and with love we achieve coherence."

He was received at the Sydney International Airport by: Metropolitan Basilius Qodsia Archbishop of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, Jean Ajaka President of the Legislative Council of NSW,  Archbishop Alexander Mufrij of the Diocese of America and a member of the accompanying delegation to his visit to Australia, Archimandrite Nabil Kessab, Father Afram Abbasi, Dr. Afif Al-Hajj President of Al-Mulla Council  and members of Al-Mulla Council Fouad Deiri and Alia Ayoub as well as the protocol crew at the airport.

The visit of Patriarch John X to Australia comes within the framework of the enthronement of the new Archbishop Basilius; the visit will be a historic occasion during which the sons of the Antiochian Church will meet with Patriarch John. He will also have meetings with leaders and representatives of the Lebanese and Arab communities.
