Sultan Qaboos gets Kuwait Emir’s message

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received a written message from Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, related to the good bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the existing areas of cooperation between them in a number of fields.

The message was received by His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, when he received on Tuesday Sheikh Sabah al Khaled al Hamad al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the State of Kuwait.

During the meeting, the Kuwaiti official conveyed greetings of the Emir of Kuwait to His Majesty along

with his best wishes of good health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan, and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

On his turn, HH Sayyid Asaad asked the Kuwaiti official to convey greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the Emir of Kuwait, along with His Majesty’s best wishes of permanent success to the Emir and the Kuwaiti brotherly people further progress under the wise leadership of the Emir.

The meeting was attended by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Saif bin Mohammed al Abri, Secretary-General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi, Adviser at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Mohammed bin Nasser al Wahaibi, Head of the GCC Department, and Fahd bin Hajar al Mutairi, Ambassador of Kuwait to the Sultanate.

Sheikh Sabah al Khaled al Hamad al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the State of Kuwait, left after a short visit to the Sultanate. He and his delegation were seen off by Minister Alawi.
