Kuwait strongly condemns Paris terrorist attack

21/04/2017

Kuwait Friday strongly condemned last night's terrorist attack in the Champs Elysees Avenue in the French capital, Paris, killing a policeman and injuring others.

Kuwait fully supports France in every measure it takes to preserve the country's security and stability, a foreign ministry source said in a statement.

He expressed firm rejection to violence and terrorism regardless of their motives.

The source called on the international community to double efforts to crack down on terrorism and violence.

He expressed deepest sympathies to France and its people.

A gunman opened fire in the Champs Elysees last night killing a policemen and seriously injuring two others. A foreign tourist was also injured in the attack.

The attack took place before the first round of the French Presidential elections, due Sunday.
