IRBIL-- Kuwait Red Crescent Society distributed on Monday 3,000 food parcels on disputed Iraqis from Mosul and Hamam Al-Alil refugee camps in southern Mosul.

KRCS offered 3,000 food parcels to displaced Iraqis in Mosul and to Hamam Al-Alil refugee camp in southern Mosul in cooperation with local humanitarian organizations, Director of KRCS's Disasters and Emergency Department Yousef Fahad Al-Me'raj told KUNA.

The food aid covered newly displaced Iraqis from the right side of Mosul due to the military operations in their area.

This is part of "Kuwait is beside you" campaign", being a humanitarian initiative from the Kuwait people to the Iraqi people facing such hard circumstances, he added.

The humanitarian aid Kuwait provides to Iraqi people will continue and vary to cover many aspects of the displaces daily needs, he affirmed.

KRCS delivered last week 6,000 food and sanitary parcels as well as 30,000 bread loaves and 60,000 fuel liters to the displaced Iraqis in the right side of Mosul as well as to Jamkur Camp close to Irbil.

KRCS also offered medical treatment in Irbil's private hospitals to more than 100 patients of displaced Iraqis who were wounded in military operations.
