OMAN: Ties with Netherlands reviewed

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received a written message from King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. The message was received by His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, when he received Barbara Joziasse, Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Sultanate, on Tuesday. The ambassador conveyed greetings of King Willem-Alexander along with his best wishes of further success to His Majesty and his government, and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

Conversation during the meeting comprehensively reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations and means of promoting them between both sides to achieve joint interests of the two countries’ friendly peoples, in addition to exchanging viewpoints on several issues and current developments in the international arena. The Dutch Ambassador expressed her country’s readiness to enhance cooperation in several fields. She also affirmed appreciation of the Netherlands for the domestic and international progress made by the Sultanate, thanks to its wise leadership and its positive and effective contribution in cementing relations of friendship, understanding and peace with countries of the world.

HH Sayyid Fahd also asked the ambassador to convey greetings of His Majesty the Sultan along with his best wishes to the King of the Netherlands and his government, and the friendly Dutch people continued progress and prosperity.
