UAE ambassador leads the way for healthier living

The UAE Embassy in Canberra continues to contribute to a healthier lifestyle with its involvement in physical activities and to help charity.

In the latest, held in early November, the UAE Ambassador to Australia, Dr. Obaid Al Heri Salem Al Ketbi, led by example and took part in the Run for your Lifeline Canberra - Fun Run & Half Marathon to support, a running marathon to support charitable works in the federal capital.

Embassy staff also took part in the event organised by Lifeline Canberra for the second year in a row. The event is in line with the UAE Embassy's sports activities.

In early October,  a walk to help heart patients was held, starting from the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Albert Street, on the Regatta Point side.

And in late September, the Windows to the World Expo was held as part of the Government House Open Day.  Embassies that took part were Ethiopia, Uruguay, United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Columbia, New Zealand, Jordan and Guatemala.
