HM Sultan Qaboos has returned back home in good health

MUSCAT: The Diwan of Royal Court has issued the following statement ‘Encompassed by Allah’s care, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos returned to the dear homeland yesterday evening enjoying full health and well-being after His Majesty’s successful completion of the medical programme- in Germany, thanks be to Allah. On this overwhelming and happy occasion, the Diwan of Royal Court raises its utmost greetings to His Majesty and the loyal subjects of Oman, coupled with appealing to Allah to always safeguard His Majesty, maintain him a supporter and source of pride for Oman and its kind people, provide him with victory to continue the comprehensive development march witnessed by our dear nation under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

HM Sultan return sparks festive mood

MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, said in a statement on the occasion of the blessed and safe return home of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, that “An overwhelming pleasure has prevailed in the Sultanate now that the Almighty Allah has endowed His Majesty Sultan Qaboos with full recuperation and a safe return home under His divine care.

Sentiments of self-denial and allegiance to the country’s monarch can never be articulated in any number of words, because these affectionate feelings stem from hearts that are filled with enormous love, he affirmed.

This great love to His Majesty the Sultan is felt by all people. It is a sincere feeling that is kindled in all hearts in sheer gratitude for the progress and prosperity that His Majesty has achieved for his thankful citizens.

He added, the citizens’ expressions of love and appreciation represent manifestations of a deep-rooted relationship which has continued to develop throughout the years of the blessed Omani Renaissance. They portray strong solidarity that Oman has ever witnessed, between an inspiring leader and citizens who are determined to forge ahead with all their might towards further progress and prosperity for their country.

HH Sayyid Fahd said, ‘The Almighty, Allah has answered prayers to protect His Majesty the Sultan and bring him back safe to Oman, where celebrations flared in all wilayats. The jubilant citizens organised spontaneous rallies and public marches in which citizens of all age groups took part, praying to the Almighty, expressing gratefulness for the return of His Majesty the Sultan to his beloved land’.

We would like to express our appreciation to all officials and friends in regional and international arenas for their continuous queries over His Majesty’s health, which reflects the deep love, respect and esteem accorded to His Majesty the Sultan by all countries of the world, and their leaders, in recognition of His Majesty’s wisdom and his role in resolving issues of concern to peace and stability for all peoples, as well as appreciation for His Majesty’s unlimited support for humanitarian, scientific and cultural issues over the globe.

Happiness spreads all over the nation

Celebrations highlight strong bond between the people and the leader — MUSCAT: Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, affirmed that Oman as a whole expresses thanks to Allah for the return of His Majesty the Sultan, the architect of modern Oman and its achievements. He added in a statement on the return home of His Majesty that ‘Since His Majesty the Sultan left the Sultanate, His Majesty was fully aware that everyone inside and outside Oman was eager to get assured about His Majesty. This feeling comes out of their recognition of what has been achieved by this wise leader. This wisdom acknowledged by Omanis and the peoples who have also been eager for the safe return of His Majesty the Sultan.

He added that once the people heard about the success of the medical investigations conducted by His Majesty they flocked to the streets to express their loyalty and love for their leader. The essays, articles and poems published at the various media means and the social networks stressed the strong bond between the leader who promised and fulfilled his promise on one hand and the people who believe in their leader on the other hand.

The Minister of the Royal Office added that during His Majesty the Sultan’s stay outside Oman, His Majesty was following closely the domestic affairs. This is manifested in royal issuing royal decrees and royal directives.

Gen Al Numani stressed that this day will be a bright history in the march of Oman between the leader and his people, renewing loyalty and allegiance to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and praying to Allah to grant him good health and a long life.

State Council congratulates all

MUSCAT: The State Council issued the following statement on the occasion of His Majesty the Sultan returning home: “Thanks to Allah for His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’ returning home in good health. These are moments of joy when everybody in Oman is celebrating the return of the kind father and the inspiring leader who instilled love and loyalty in the hearts of his people. The chairman, members and employees at the State Council join the Omani people in celebrating the return of His Majesty the Sultan. We congratulate ourselves and all the Omani loyal people for this great gift. We kneel to Allah thanking him for His Majesty the Sultan’s return surrounded by Allah care.

Over the past years of his rule, which have witnessed numerous achievements in all walks of life, His Majesty the Sultan has created spaces of spontaneous love in the hearts of individual. This love was nurtured by His Majesty’s royal dealing with everyone in the interest of the Sultanate. All these endeavours were meant to make Oman an oasis of security and safety. Now more than any time in the past, the love of the Omani man to his leader is evident. This reflects that noble values the Omani man is known for. We appeal to Allah to safeguard His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and grant him good health, welfare, a long life and to maintain security, stability and welfare blessings for Oman.

GCC leaders greet HM

KUWAIT: His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah sent a cable to Sultan Qaboos welcoming his safe return to his country from Germany where he completed successful treatment. Kuwait and its people are sharing the joy of the Omani people on the occasion of Sultan Qaboos’ return, His Highness the Emir said in his cable, and wished the Omani leader continue his leadership of the country towards more development and prosperity. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to Sultan Qaboos on the occasion of his return to Oman in the wake of his successful medical program.His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak al Hamad al Sabah sent a similar cable.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos on completing his medical programme successfully in Germany. HRH the Premier extended deepest and most sincere congratulations on this occasion to the Omani leader, wishing him abundant health and happiness. In the cable, HRH the Premier hailed deep-rooted historic and fraternal relations bonding the two brotherly countries and peoples.
