KUWAIT- Kuwait's Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi on Wednesday urged greater investment in youths of the Arabian Gulf nations.

In a virtual meeting of GCC youth and sports ministers, Al-Mutairi called for holding youth activities to harness their skills and innovation.

He also underlined the importance of enhancing the GCC joint action in developing and empowering youths through holding diverse events oriented for youths.

He noted that such events benefit youths and help them gain needed skills.

The minister said that Kuwait has adopted a policy that depends on listening to youths and their views, and providing with opportunities to express themselves and contribute to the state building.

He pointed out Kuwait's national strategy on voluntary action has been set.

The meeting gathered all GCC youth and sports ministers, and GCC Secretary General Nayef Al-Hajraf.
