KUWAIT-- Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi on Tuesday expressed his pride for representing His Highness the Crown Prince to attend the 28th Crown Prince Cup final.

In a press statement following honoring the winners, Al-Mutairi said His Highness the Crown Prince's patronage of the championship embodies the political leadership' interest in, and keenness on, backing sports and sportspeople, mainly the football as it is the first popular game in Kuwait and has a lot of fans.

He congratulated Kuwait SC, Qadsia and Burgan for winning the first, second, and third places respectively, thanking the Kuwait Football Association headed by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yosef Al-Sabah for all efforts in organizing the final.

Al-Mutairi affirmed that the Public Authority for Sport (PAS) is keen on creating an appropriate climate for the Kuwaiti youths in all games and achieving accomplishments for Kuwait, under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Kuwait SC defeated Qadsia SC 2-1 in overtime, snatching the 28th Crown Prince Cup. The game was held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium earlier in the day.

After the game, Al-Mutairi delivered the Cup to the winners and the medals to the first three positions.

KUWAIT-- Kuwait SC was able to defeat Qadsia SC 2-1 in overtime and clinched the 28th Crown Prince Cup at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on Tuesday.

Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi represented His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in the match.
