Defense Minister meets Commander of the US Central Command Exchanged views on topics of joint interest, and ways to enhance them Kuwait First Deputy PM meets with top Chinese, US officials 13/11/2019 KUWAIT-- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held talks on Wednesday with China's Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming. The two sides discussed their joint trade cooperation and exchanged views on topics of joint interest, and ways to enhance them, the defense ministry said in a press statement. They also reviewed the possibilities to benefit from Chinese ideas and expertise in growth and development fields for various projects, of which Kuwait aspires to implement as part of its 2035 vision, added the statement. Furthermore, Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah also met, separately, with Commander of the US Central Command, Marine Corps General Kenneth McKenzie. During the meeting, the two sides discussed their close ties and joint cooperation in various fields and on all levels, particularly military affairs. |
