Mass and funeral for the soul of the late Debeh Ghossayn Salame in Sydney

Sydney - M E Times Int'l: In the presence of a large crowd, H.E Bishop Antoine Charbel Tarabay the pastor of the Maronite Diocese in Australia presided over a Mass at the Church of Saint Charbel - Punchbowl, for the soul of the late Debeh Ghossayn Salame from “Hadath El Jebbeh” who died in Lebanon; She was the sister of businessman George Ghossayn.

The head of Saint Charbel Monastery Father Charbel Abboud and a group of fathers assisted in the mass.

The Mass, was attended by H.E John Ajaka MLC, President of the Legislative Council of NSW and Deputy Speaker of the 35-nation Commonwealth Alliance's Parliament, H.E Charbel Macaron Consul General of Lebanon in Sydney, a number of community leaders, mayors, members of municipalities, representatives of party organizations, clergy and nuns, the family of the deceased and media representatives.

After the Gospel, Bishop Tarabay delivered a sermon in which he spoke of the good transplantation, that is, planting the seeds of God’s Word which grows in us to live the grace of faith.  It gives us the strength of stability, facing difficulties and challenges of society. He also spoke about the life of the late Debeh Ghossayn Salame, who suffered a lot because of illness, but remained strong and steadfast in her faith and echoing with (your pain, Jesus).

After the mass, her family accepted condolences.
